Thank you for taking part in personal training and group fitness classes at Balance. Below are the policies and procedures that allow us to be most efficient and provide the best service possible.



Payment is to be made in advance of services being provided.

  • We accept MC, Visa, AMEX, Discover, Check & Cash.

  • Payment can be made in studio. Also, clients have the ability to view account status and purchase services through MINDBODY using a credit card.

Group Fitness Reservation Policy

All customers are required to have a current class package or credit card on file to be able to reserve any classes in advance.

  • All participants must schedule their classes through the MINDBODY Reservation System at least 1 hour prior to the beginning of class.

  • Drop ins will be permitted if capacity allows.

  • If you schedule a class in MINDBODY and do not cancel at least 12 hours before the start of the class or do not attend, you forfeit the class. Clients with unlimited packages will have the associated rate charged to your credit card ($15 or $20).


Arrival Time

You are expected to begin working out at the start time of the scheduled training session or group fitness class.

  • Training appointments will last the duration of the scheduled time.

  • If you are 5 minutes late for a class without notice, you space may be given to someone on standby.

Group Fitness Waitlist Policy

Waitlists are available for every class.

  • You will receive an email from MINDBODY when you are placed into class and you assume responsibility for that class.

  • If you change your mind, please sign into your account to cancel.


Expiration Policy

All training or group fitness packages expire 12 months after the date of the first training session/class used (unless otherwise stated in the case of special promotions).

  • Any training sessions/classes that remain after the expiration date will be forfeited. If you are physically unable to continue activity contact management.

  • 30 day Unlimited Group Fitness packages cannot be frozen. Annual Group Fitness packages can be temporarily frozen in the case of unexpected travel, temporary injury or illness at the discretion of the management.

Personal Training

If you need to cancel a training session you must do so by contacting the trainer 24 hours prior to the appointment or you will forfeit your training session or be charged the associated rate.

  • In special circumstances and if the trainer’s schedule permits, we may agree upon a shorter notice period, in which case you will not forfeit your training session.


Studio Ettiquette

  • You are permitted to use the cardio equipment for a maximum of 20 minutes if you are on the premises for training or class unless it is in used by the training staff. No client is to be working out unsupervised on the training floor or any classrooms without permission from management.

  • Speaking or using the speaker with cell phones is not permitted on the training floor or in the classrooms. Also, be aware of social conversations during class and while on the public area of the training floor taking care not to disrupt those who are working out.

  • Balance will not be responsible for any items lost or stolen. Items may not be stored overnight. Any items left behind will be held in lost and found for a maximum of 30 days and then disposed of or donated.
