After years of working in gyms and as a personal trainer, training pro Amy Carolla opened Balance Chestnut Hill in 2009 looking to create an exclusive atmosphere where people can learn, practice and adapt a healthy way of living.

Helping each client reach their fitness goals while building a strong foundation for a healthier lifestyle, Amy is also a personal trainer at Balance. Understanding that exercise is only one part of the package for a well-rounded healthy lifestyle, Amy focuses on using a combination of strength, cardio, flexibility and nutrition to aid in developing a healthy and balanced mind and body. She is the brains behind Balance's integrated wellness approach. Growing the studio enough to accommodate bringing the blend of health and wellness professionals that operate in the studio today.

Amy is a graduate of West Chester University with a B.S. degree in Kinesiology and a minor in Nutrition. She is currently working with WCU Kinesiology Department as an Adjunct Professor. She has certification with the National Academy of Sports Medicine for Personal Training and Nutrition. Amy has also developed Balance’s custom lifestyle program B.I.O. “Balance from the Inside Out” which led to the creation of The Balance Fit Print – 6 for Success Program.

Amy is married to Jesse and a mom to two beautiful daughters. You can feel the family atmosphere at Balance because it’s run like a family by a family. Jesse, who is an Assistant Athletic Director, Teacher and Coach by day, is also an instructor/trainer at Balance in the evenings and on weekends.
