The Menopause Effect

Balance is excited to offer a new program for women who are ready to focus on “M.E.”!  The Menopause Effect is designed for women from peri through post menopause and delivered by Penny Sullivan, our newly certified specialist!

Did you know menopause actually begins 10 years before your first symptom?

We cannot “out fitness“ menopause, no matter how fit, healthy, or determined you are.  If you have functioning ovaries, at some point you will experience menopause.

Menopause is a "full-contact sport”!  Be champions of self-care.  It benefits everyone.  Good nutrition, regular movement/exercise, restful sleep, stress management, cultivating a social support system, the basic things that serve all human beings well are particularly needed during menopause and beyond.

Run by Penny Sullivan, certified Girls Gone Strong Menopause coach, the goal of our 4 week program is to help facilitate a woman’s ability to make choices in favor of her health and wellbeing.

Walk away with tools and strategies to navigate this inevitable, physiological and emotional process that actually lasts the last third of our lives. This program will create a safe space where we, as a typically ignored population, can share experiences, laugh, vent, exercise, breathe, stretch, and learn about self-care and recovery.
